Full renovation and interior design in a corner apartment in the Salamanca District
On an upper floor of the Salamanca District, this home revolves around its corner living room: a curved bay window that floods the day area with light and a fireplace framed in a large oak panel that brings order to the whole space. Curved sofas, travertine and a palette of whites and sand complete a serene atmosphere designed for conversation.
Calacatta Viola marble is the common thread of the project: it draws the door surrounds between living and dining rooms, runs along the skirting boards and becomes a console and the kitchen floor, where it lives alongside oak joinery, glazed cabinets and an island with a breakfast bar behind a white glass partition. An exposed-brick terrace, overlooking the treetops, extends the life of the house outdoors.
The bedrooms slow the pace: bespoke upholstered headboards over vertical panelling, oak on floors and bedside tables, and a filtered light that invites rest.
The interior design and furnishing, created by the studio, round off a renovation in which every material tells the same story.
