Full renovation of a luxury home in Madrid
A full luxury renovation is not about doing more, but about making everything make sense: space, light and materials in the service of how you want to live.
A full renovation of a luxury home is the complete transformation of a house —layout, services, materials and interior design— to adapt it to the life of those who live in it, with the highest level of finish and under the direction of a single architecture studio. In Madrid, where much of the prestige housing stock consists of classic buildings with decades of history, renovating well is almost always more valuable than starting from scratch.
What sets a luxury renovation apart
Real luxury is not about accumulating expensive materials, but about coherence: that every decision —where the light comes in, how you move through the home, what you see when you open a door— responds to a single criterion. In our projects that translates into a bespoke layout, natural light considered room by room, noble materials that improve with time, and furniture designed for the space it will occupy.
We do not chase the trend of the year. We look for homes that will still make sense in twenty, because the best homes are not the ones that draw the most attention, but those in which everything seems to be exactly where it should be.
Renovating versus building new
Two models coexist in the luxury segment. One puts up new-build with identical finishes in any city in the world. The other —ours— starts from a building with history, studies its structure, respects its character and transforms it into a home that can only exist here. Recovering a moulding, a herringbone floor or an original piece of joinery adds a value no new material can match, and we combine it with contemporary technology and comfort.

A single point of contact, from the idea to the keys
Renovating a high-end home means coordinating architecture, permits, works, services, bespoke joinery, interior design and decoration. When a single studio directs all of it, the seams disappear: no decisions are lost between trades and no responsibility is diluted. You make the important decisions; we make sure they are executed with precision. That is the logic of our design and site-management service.
The value of what you don't see
A luxury home is enjoyed in the visible details, but it is held up by the invisible ones: generous electrical wiring, new plumbing, acoustic and thermal insulation, underfloor heating, home automation and lighting designed point by point. It is the least photogenic part of a renovation and, nonetheless, the part that makes a home work smoothly for decades. That is why it is no place to cut corners.
Our hallmarks
Some elements recur in our homes because they work: the iron-framed glass partitions that connect spaces without taking away light, the oak-slat lattices that filter and order, the restored original mouldings and joinery, and the bespoke furniture designed by the studio. They are not an imposed style, but a language we adapt to each home and each family.

Where we work
We concentrate our renovations in Madrid's best neighbourhoods —the Salamanca District, Chamberí, Almagro, Justicia, Recoletos, Chamartín and Retiro—, where stately architecture and international demand meet. You can see the result in our projects, from a penthouse in the Torre de Valencia facing the Retiro to classic apartments on Diego de León or General Oráa.
How to start your project
Every full renovation begins by listening: understanding how you live, what you need and what you would like to change. From there we outline possibilities, timescales and an initial idea of the investment. If you want a professional view before taking the step, you can book a one-hour express consultation with Mónica, or simply tell us about your project.
