Noble materials: the luxury you can touch

True luxury is not seen: it is touched. And it improves with time.

Noble materials: the luxury you can touch

There is a luxury that is not shown off and yet is felt every day: that of noble materials. The ones chosen not for their immediate shine, but for how they age, for the touch they offer and for the history they accumulate over the years.

Materials that improve with time

Solid European oak, marble from exclusive quarries, hand-aged brass, Belgian linen, vegetable-tanned leather. These are living materials: wood gains patina, brass darkens, stone tells its origin. Unlike finishes that deteriorate, these grow more beautiful with use.

From the floor to the door handle

In a well-executed renovation, materials are cared for at every scale: from the restored herringbone floor to the surround of a fireplace, from an iron glass partition to a bespoke handle. We recover the original when it is worth it —mouldings, joinery, leaded glass— and combine it with new pieces made to last.

Because a luxury home is not measured in square metres, but in details that are felt. Discover how we work in the studio, or explore the handcrafted furniture of Diago Home.
